A daring and determined visionary: around 2021, George Serrano-A launched his first conception of the Afflatus Bench. This sculptural piece exposes a modern design inspired by 20th-century aesthetics, balancing functionality, elegance, and artisanal stringency. George is a  Designer, who spent an extended period (around ten years) working in-house for a Vintage Collector in Stamford, CT (Antique Store). Later, through their minacious work and dedication, he learned this know-how about antique restoration to elevate unique vintage finds with exceptional finishes imbued by sophistication. Passionate about minimalism and an appreciation for the Bauhaus and mid-century modern period, today, he intends to continue offering curated collections of fine vintage designs and our high-end furniture proposals. Creations that reinterpret the modern legacy through form alchemy and revealing unusual pieces that extend a few iconic features. In that respect, George is directly involved in all the stages of production, from the initial design idea to the final craftsmanship. Every prototype created under the trademark is designed by DECLARE USA LLC and manufactured by independent artisans contracted for a specific series of furniture pieces.
